Hello old friends,
I can't believe it's been a year (maybe more!) since I've last blogged.

I have a lot of excuses. Including but not limited to…

1. Life with a toddler is hectic. Yes, Grace is already three! Seems just like yesterday that I was blogging about my pregnancy with her, and her first birthday. I owe the site a post on her 2nd and 3rd birthdays. Phew!

2. We moved back to Texas! In June 2016, we left our beloved home and dear, dear friends in Little Rock, and moved to Austin. Michael got an awesome new job; it was an opportunity we were guided to by God, and we couldn't pass it up. It was really hard to leave Arkansas, as we really had grown to love the natural beauty, the four distinct seasons, the close friends we made and the home we owned.

3. I had to figure out my job situation after the move. I ended up staying on as editor at Arkansas Business Publishing Group, as a remote employee, and it's just as fun and fulfilling as it was before. What a blessing to get to keep working for such a wonderful company.

4. We're pregnant with our second child. I'm now 24 weeks and it's a boy! We only want two children, so it's perfection to have one boy and one girl. God is good.

5.My Etsy shop has kept me busy! What started as a curious little venture to see if my invitation creations were sellable has turned into a legitimate company that has been a big blessing to our family. Another example of God's hands working in our lives long before we realized his plan.

I'm excited to get back into the game of blogging, as it's such a nice way for me to keep a little diary of our family's adventures and for me to showcase the cute little showers, parties and more that I'm getting to be a part of through Little Pebble Paper!
