A few Little Rock ladies and I recently hosted a baby shower for my dear friend, Kami. She’s having a little boy in early March. Name to be determined. 🙂

Her best friend, Chrissy thought of a precious little theme: Welcome to the World. She felt it was classy, not gimmicky. I agreed.We all divvied up responsibilities, and the end result was a precious little baby shower filled with details I’ll share with you now.

The maps used to create the word “baby” were all maps of cities about the mommy and her hubby – their hometowns, the city they started dating and where they live now.

Hostess Chrissy found the map suitcases and “packed” Baby Coleman a little man suitcase (TOO CUTE!)

Not a traditional “guest book” or advice card … but travel/map themed and with neat pages guests could personalize. I love mixing it up, and am so happy Chrissy stumbled upon this!

Love this beautiful lady! She’s always there for me and I just couldn’t survive Little Rock without her! She’s also Grace’s favorite … I call Kami the “Grace whisperer” …. you’d have to see it to know what I mean.

The hostesses with the mommy-to-be (due any day now, actually!) Chrissy, Kami’s bestie in the blue stripes and brains behind this theme, created all the map decor and it was amazing.
