Recently I tried a new restaurant, LYFE kitchen with one of my best girlfriends. After a light dinner and fun conversation- we agreed to definitely revisit in the near future. Personally, I truly enjoy trying new places- as every time is a guaranteed new experience, and at LYFE …..I was not let down.
As I had never been before, I was not sure what to expect. I knew the food would be “healthier in nature” (because my best friend is super healthy, avoids refined sugars, 100% against hydrogenated oils type), but was pleasantly surprised upon checking out their menu.
LYFE’s motto is, “Eat Good, Feel Good, Do Good”- and every dish they offer is under 600 calories. They try to use local and “sustainably sourced ingredients whenever possible”- and also list entire ingredient lists for the inquiring customer. As I know a few people who have food sensitivities, I appreciated that in addition to the already healthy menu, there were vegan, vegetarian, and gluten options.
The inside atmosphere was clean, with an orange and white color palette-and a brightly lit herb garden that was near the cashier.
The value for my meal was definitely fair, and the overall pricing $-$$. For my light dinner, I chose: Sweet Corn Chowder, a Carrot Zucchini Walnut muffin, and a Mango Cucumber Lime Smoothie(which by the way was Amazingly delicious).
Like I said, I will be going back. I LOVED my smoothie, so look forward to trying the other one next time 🙂
