I love a good cupcake, and any excuse for making them, or better yet eating them, I will take. So for an upcoming bachelorette/lingerie party, I wanted a cute cupcake topping that fit the mood. This “bra” topping was quick to throw together and just right for a bachelorette party, and here’s how I did it:

Start off with plain cupcakes, and keep the icing simple.

Add 2 small cookies to each.  I used Trader Joe’s Crispy Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies, but kept any chocolate chips that showed through down towards the bottom where I knew they would be covered by frosting.

For the bra part I mixed a little cranberry juice in with my icing. It colors the icing nicely without the need for artificial dyes, and since it is only used in a small area, I wasn’t worried about the flavor taking over.

Since I don’t know where my icing gun is (we are still unpacking), I had to use a ziplock bag, fill it with icing, and snip off a corner.

Pipe the icing onto the bottom halves of the cookies. I swirled it on to give the impression of lace.

Add some straps by running a straight line of frosting on either side, and you are done!
