I have seen people use glass frosting spray paint to add lines to Christmas ornaments and vases, by putting tape across them, so I thought I’d take it a step further using stickers to decorate this plain candle for Valentine’s Day, and while I was at it, to add a little style to my sugar jar.
Here’s all you need. A can of $4.50 frosting spray paint, and some stickers or tape.
Put stickers on and tape around edges.
Spray paint. I used “frosting” but you could do this in any color.
Tip: Spray past the edges of your vase or candle to prevent paint pooling up.
Ready for Valentine’s Day!
Both of your little projects look great!! I did some glass etching on kitchen canisters and had so much fun doing it (http://inspireandindulge.wordpress.com/2012/11/19/diy-kitchen-canister-glass-etching/). Your post reminded me that I want to etch some more stuff!
That little sugar bowl is too cute!
Oh! I like this, is so cute! 🙂
